Presenting the Future Vision of K-Mold and Its Upstream/Downstream Industries Introducing AI Matching Platform... Enhancing Connectivity Between Exhibitors and Buyers

The "International Die & Mold and Related Equipment Exhibition (INTERMOLD KOREA 2027)," which aims to revitalize the mold industry currently contracted due to domestic and international uncertainties and present its future vision, will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan for four days from March 2 (Tue) to March 5 (Fri) next year.

INTERMOLD KOREA 2027, to be held next March, will showcase promising new technologies in the domestic die/mold and related industries in one place. At the same time, it is expected to serve as a turning point for the resurgence of the mold industry by providing a breakthrough against the uncertainties surrounding the sector.

Meanwhile, since its inception in 1981, INTERMOLD KOREA has solidified the status of the K-mold industry for over 45 years, establishing itself as the only exhibition specializing in molds in Korea. In particular, the 27th exhibition (INTERMOLD KOREA 2025) held last year continued its reputation as the largest mold exhibition, attracting over 42,000 visitors despite sluggish domestic demand and intensifying global competition.

Recently, the die and mold industry has been required to find new growth engines due to the aggressive low-price onslaught from countries like China and US tariffs. Accordingly, this exhibition will showcase various technologies and solutions based on intelligent processes aligned with the manufacturing AX (AI Transformation) trend. In addition, AI will be applied throughout exhibition operations to significantly simplify administrative tasks, focusing on expanding business opportunities for exhibitors.

In particular, the introduction of an AI matching platform for visitors and buyers is expected to improve consultation efficiency. A chatbot function that recommends relevant companies based on interest analysis will also be provided to boost the satisfaction of both exhibitors and visitors. This platform will continue to operate year-round even after the exhibition concludes, serving as a unified gateway to support domestic and foreign buyers in discovering domestic trading partners.

The exhibition items will be comprehensively classified into a total of four specialized pavilions: △Die, Mold & Related Equipment, △Additive Manufacturing Technology, △Fundamental Process Technology, and △Intelligent Process Technology, encompassing all products relevant to the mold industry.

As this exhibition has expanded its exhibit profile, the number of exhibitors and visitors is expected to increase. The integration of the mold industry with its upstream and downstream sectors is projected to not only strengthen exhibition synergy but also further enhance its status as an industry-specialized international exhibition.

Applications for INTERMOLD KOREA 2027 are currently being accepted on the official exhibition website (www.intermoldkorea.com). A special 10% early-bird discount is offered for applications submitted by June 30 (Tue).
