10 Domestic Companies to Exhibit, Seeking to Expand Breakthroughs into the Thai Mold & Die Market
KODMIC will participate in INTERMOLD Thailand 2026, held at the BITEC exhibition center in Bangkok, Thailand, for four days from Wednesday, June 17 to Saturday, June 20. KODMIC will organize the Korea Pavilion alongside 10 domestic exhibiting companies.
First held in 1992, Intermold Thailand marks its 32nd anniversary this year as Thailand's sole dedicated mold and die exhibition. As the largest manufacturing nation in the ASEAN region, Thailand is an open trading country highly dependent on foreign trade. With a heavy concentration of major Japanese automotive industries, the exhibition is expected to facilitate active technological and industrial exchanges, featuring companies from various sectors including molds, components, tools, die-processing machine tools, and 3D printers.
The exhibition space spans approximately 45,000 square meters, with around 1,000 companies expected to participate and an estimated 88,000 visitors (based on 2025 statistics) attending during the exhibition period.
At this exhibition, KODMIC plans to form the Korea Pavilion with 10 domestic mold and related companies to widely promote Korean mold technologies and products. It will also provide comprehensive support to help companies achieve tangible export performance through on-site consultations with local buyers.
In preparation, KODMIC hosted a pre-exhibition briefing meeting for the participating exhibitors on Tuesday, May 12, in the 3rd-floor conference room of the KODMIC building to share necessary arrangements for maximizing consultation and promotional efficiency.
During the meeting, detailed exhibition plans, including the location and operations of the Korea Pavilion, were guided along with strategies for follow-up consultations and post-exhibition management. The participating companies also engaged in discussions regarding effective strategies to penetrate the Thai market.
Meanwhile, at the meeting, Deok-gyu Kim, CEO of Abrams Wiki Korea Co., Ltd., introduced his company's platform to the participants. He presented methods to enhance exhibition outcomes, such as pre-identifying potential buyers to schedule face-to-face meetings at the venue.
Through this upcoming exhibition, KODMIC intends to actively promote the technological competitiveness of 'K-Mold' and heavily support the expansion of exports into the Thai market by discovering new buyers.
