Digital Transition of Die & Mold Industry and Hyper-Connection of Supply & Demand Industry
Presentation of Future Vision of Korea’s Die & Mold Industry
INTERMOLD KOREA 2025 will take place at Ilsan KINTEX as a four-day event from March 11 (Tue) ~ 14 (Fri) of next year, with the aim to lead the revitalization of the die & mold industry and to present a future industry vision.
The Korea Die & Mold Industry Cooperative (KODMIC) will host INTERMOLD KOREA 2025 under a new name, and will maximize synergy of die & mold-related upstream and downstream industries by expanding the scope of exhibition items of relevant industries to include casting and robots.
In 2021, upon the outbreak of the global COVID-19 pandemic, INTERMOLD KOREA transitioned into an online exhibition to serve as a new die & mold marketing platform. At the 26th INTERMOLD KOREA 2023, more than 50,000 people (cumulative number of relevant exhibitions) came to see the exhibition despite the global manufacturing industry recession due to the pandemic, which showcased its continuing reputation as the world’s largest die & mold exhibition. In particular, vast number of the world’s leading die & mold and related companies participated, and a future direction of the die & mold industry in the post-pandemic era was presented via use of automation, sophisticated, and smart technologies.
The 27th INTERMOLD KOREA, which is slated to be held in March 11, 2025, will offer a future outlook of the die & mold industry under the theme of “Digital Transition of Die & Mold Industry and Hyper-Connection of Supply-Demand Industry.”
For this purpose, KODMIC will realign and expand the top-four major exhibition items to include the following: ▲ die & mold and relevant equipment ▲3D printing, casting & forging, surface treatment & heat treatment ▲ fundamental processing technology, robot, sensor, and software ▲ smart processing technology.
Through expansion of such exhibition items, KODMIC sets to lead the transition to a sophisticated manufacturing industry through linkage with the die & mold industry and upstream & downstream industries.
While next year’s event will likely attract a greater number of participating companies and visitors, connection between die & mold and upstream & downstream industries will further strengthen synergy effect and contribute to further upgrading the status of INTERMOLD KOREA as an industry-specialized international exhibition.
Details regarding participation in INTERMOLD KOREA 2025 will be posted via the official website (www.intermoldkorea.com). Please contact KODMIC’s Exhibition Marketing Team (Tel: 070-4269-9378~80) if you have any questions.
