At the 27th INTERMOLD KOREA, which is slated for March 11 (Tue) ~ 14 (Fri), 2025, the Korea Die & Mold Industry Cooperative (KODMIC) will create a platform where startups possessing innovative product development items will be matched with die & mold companies.
With the aim to promote the development of the die & mold and relevant industries, KODMIC is planning to newly implement the “INTERMOLD KOREA 2025: Nationwide Innovative Startup Item Development Matching Support Project.”
This is part of the effort to support the domestic manufacturing industry growth through matching startup companies (individuals) possessing innovative development items with die & mold companies owning sophisticated manufacturing technologies.
The “Nationwide Innovative Startup Item Development Matching Support Project” seeks to increase synergy through providing support to startups (companies) having difficulty partnering with suitable die & mold and forming technology companies, despite possessing creative and promising product development ideas, and matching them with die & mold companies.
Die & mold manufacturing is a key element that determines the productivity and quality at the initial startup phase, and may contribute to enhancing product completeness and saving production cost. However, given the initial high cost during die & mold manufacturing, potential startups or small-scale companies find it challenging to tap into the relevant market. The foregoing Support Project will serve as a basis to resolve such issues and, at the same time, support startups with creative and promising ideas to succeed in improving quality and commercialization through die & mold manufacturing.
Offer a cooperative platform for startups and die & mold companies
Under the Support Project, up to 20 innovative product development items will be chosen for matching with die & mold manufacturing companies.
Matching between startup (potential) companies (individuals) and die & mold companies will be actively supported by providing booths in the form of a joint pavilion during INTERMOLD KOREA 2025.
This is anticipated to help die & mold companies find new and promising partnerships, and provide opportunities for startup (potential) companies (individuals) to further improve product completeness by utilizing the technical prowess and experience of die & mold companies.
Further details pertaining to this project will be separately notified including method of participation.
